Food
For another year, Cyprus has a strong presence in Gulf Food Exhibition,
with 468 sq. m. hosting 33 companies in different sections.
Cyprus has a lot to offer in food and drinks products to this part of the world for many reasons. The quality which is up to the European standards and the similar food varieties because of Mediterranean location and the old relation with the Arab World, plays a big role for our manufacturers to establish and strengthen an existing business relations in the region.
Cyprus presents in Gulf food different kinds of food and drinks such as Dairy Products like halloumi, feta, anary cheeses which are very well known world wide and considered the food mark of Cyprus.
In addition to that we will be exhibiting frozen foods like fyllo pastry, kataifi, puff pastry, ravioli, tortellini, burgers, cheese pie, sausages and olive pie, croissant, pizzaz, pastry leaves, kounafa and quails.
Moreover products of different kinds will be displayed like pasta products, flour, canned tomatoes, noodles, edible oil, hand cooked potatoes crisps, peanuts, muffins, swiss rolls, marshmallow, coconut bars, chocolates products, herbs, spices, confectionery, legumes, tea bags, jelly, cream caramel, rice pudding, juices & concentrates, powder drink and fresh vegetables.
Non food products is another sector that offers additional products and enrich our participation. These products are plastic household and packaging items, display stand & POS materials, filling, capping, labeling machines, printing products for catering and beverages industry.
Launching a new section in Gulf Food this year means for us introducing new products. Wine and spirit section will host 5 winneries from Cyprus with their famous wines and spirits. Wine making has a long history in Cyprus goes back for thousand of years BC and is produced from the best vine products in the Mediterranean. The varieties of the wine grapes are of many kinds and has been selected throughout many ages and this selection gives the wine industry its richness.
Finally we wish that Gulf Food 2006 will be up to our manufacturers and exporters expectations hoping a good reflection on their records and their customers as well.
